McDonald's — Restaurant in Caldas da Rainha

Decent McDonald's experience. This location was pretty busy with a bunch of middle school / high school aged kids (especially considering it was 11 pm on a Thursday) .

I love to try different menu items at different locations across my travels. Here I had the Double Royal Bacon burger. It was quite big and very filling - much more burger than a big Mac.

We ordered at the kiosk and then waited for someone at the counter to pay and they kinda left us there waiting for a while before coming to the counter - although they clearly saw us waiting there.

I also had a lion mcflurry. It was good, but nothing to...

4 years ago I rated this McDonald's restaurant 5 stars.

Now I wanted to grab a quick bite on my way home because it was too late. I stopped my car a few kilometres away, checked their app for their schedule (due to covid restrictions) and I noticed it was open until 1AM. I arrived at 00:13AM and no one, literally no one informed it was closed. The employees, with the windows opened just ignored me waiting in the car. I called their local number and I was told "the schedules on the app are none of my business" and hung up.

You lost a loyal customer....

Rarher small compared to others but the only one in Caldas da Rainha. Another low point about it is they do not have a regular Kiosk with pastel de nata or other regular pastries, only breakfast menus with pancakes and such. Good wifi and socket plugs available if you'd like to come here with your laptop and work for a bit. Avoid lunch time as it will be unbearable with all the noise and amount of people...
