We have stayed in a lot of hotels since moving to Portugal and this was the best experience by far! The owners went way out of their way to be helpful and welcoming! A big plus was a shot of ginja, port or Beirao on offer when you check in and every other time you go in or out of the hotel! Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice shower. The location of the place is also ideal, in the heart of this comely little town. Our room was small, but clean and all right if one uses it only for sleeping and not for hanging out. Overall great experience of local hospitality, kindness, and...
