Aqui Há Gato — Restaurant in Caminha

We came here after hearing amazing things about the place.

We dined with 3 and all liked our ribeye stake cooked differently. They served amazingly seasoned meat and provided a sizzling plate where we could bake our pieces longer for the ones who like their meat well-done.

The red wine was amazing and the staff were incredibly nice as well. I would definitely come back here.

We watched the sun set over the water from our table while some nice, slow, music played in the background.

The dessert we had was home-made and tasted like home. We were of Portuguese and Dutch company and everyone adored this place all the same.

10/10 would...

Food was okay. But just okay. Parrilhada de carne, all cheap cuts of meat. Over cooked. Fries were good. Waitress said it was served with veggies, but had to remind them after the food was already served... No one came during the meal to see how things were. Tables left and no one attempted to pick up dirty dishes, half hour later they were still on the table. 2€ for soft drinks. Almost 4€ for soup. Super overpriced and under delivered. Kids chairs were the clip on kind that always make me nervous and fabric was super dirty. 4 people, 2 food dishes, bread, and...

Lieu à éviter !! Je jamais été aussi mal reçu !! J’y suis aller simplement pour prendre un café, la serveuse me dit qu’ils allument la machine à cet qu’il faudra donc attendre 10 min pour être servi , (cela me conviens très bien ) . Passé 40 min, toujours pas de café …. Bon … Je vais demander au bar et la personne qui s’y trouve me dit que la machine à café n’est toujours pas allumée et qu’il faudra attendre encore ! (On était à peine 5-6 clients , donc ils n’étaient pas débordés !) J’ai eu le sentiment qu’ils s’en fichaient complètement des clients et je suis donc parti. Pour moi c’est fini je n’y mettrai plus jamais les pieds!! S’ils n’avaient pas l’intention de servir du café, autant le dire directement plutôt que de faire attendre les clients pour rien !

Lugar a evitar !! Nunca fui tão mal recebido !! Fui lá apenas para tomar um café, a rapariga me diz que eles ligam a máquina e que tenho que esperar 10 minutos para ser servido, (isso me convé muito bem). Passados 40 min, ainda sem café .... Ok ... Vou perguntar no bar e a pessoa que está lá me diz que a máquina de café ainda não está ligada e que tenho que esperar mais! Ainda a Gozar ! (Nós mal éramos 5-6 clientes, então eles não estavam sobrecarregados!) Tive a sensação de que eles não se importavam com os clientes e por isso saí. Para mim acabou, nunca mais ponho l’a os pès !! Se eles não tinham a intenção de servir café, mais vale dizê-lo diretamente em vez de fazer os clientes...
