Kurika — Restaurant in Espinho

Hey everyone, we need to support these local restaurants as much as we can.

We had a flawless experience from start to finish. As soon as we were trying to say our orders and start a minimal conversation in Portuguese we were treated as royalty. Bear in mind I can't speak Portuguese but Google translate is your friend. The food was impeccable and we had the seafood specialty. Massive portion for two people. It was visible that this was a kind family run business. We haven't been charged for the wine for dessert and maybe it was because we tried to connect with the people.

Kurika is the type of place where you will find true homemade cook food. If you want to taste real Portuguese food and you are in Espinho this is the place to go. The starters are great, the main dish is superb and the desserts are as good as they get. In the end they offer a glass of Moscatel with the coffee. It's a great meal with a very fair price. Local family restaurant with nice staff and amazing dinner. We shared a big portion of fish and got some steaks on the side. Overall great quality of food and a delicious menu.
