Green Coast Beach Bar — Restaurant in Espinho

This place is extremely hit or miss. It gets 2 stars for the amount of times the kitchen was open the times that we were there (5 times.) The cook seems to come and go when he wants which leads to weird opening times of the kitchen. The food is really good one day and not so good the next day. They seem to be obsessed with putting an Italian herb mix on everything they can. They also don’t have a lot of things on their menu, or at least say they don’t. We wanted to order the roasted Chorizo and were told they don’t have any anymore, to then be server chorizo on a cheese and sausage platter. I cannot express my confusion about this enough. Sometimes you get told the kitchen will be open at 11, sometimes 11:30, sometimes you get told it will open in 20 minutes, just to come back and they tell you it will be open in another 20 min.

Otherwise the ambiance is nice. It’s very modern and right by the beach and the servers are nice. The drinks are also good. Nice place to have a few drinks...

Beautiful vibe and attentive chill staff. I went for my included breakfast from Green Coast Surf House accommodation. It was a perfect spot as the beach was windy. A lovely fresh natural orange juice, perfectly toasted and presented ham and cheese toastie and a coffee of your choice was great. The place is very chill and has good vibes, but unfortunately the inside of our chicken burger was totally raw. Even though we had a good time here, and the rest of our food was okay, this ruined our appetite. I think the prices were too high for a mistake like this to happen.
