Service was average and the ambiance was fine but the food was the biggest let down. I visited here based on multiple reviews raving about the pizza but was left sorely disappointed since It tasted worse than microwaved frozen pizza. The pizza was bland, overloaded with cheese and just completely unappetising. The dough did not seem to be fresh either. I’ve had pizzas across several countries and unfortunately this probably takes the cake at being the worst one yet. The price being charged for this abomination doesn’t help with this situation. . The only saving grace was the average sangria.

The restaurant looks very nice and is very very clean. Service is really top! But, the dishes are not. I took the salade Nr 17 for 9€ and get 1/4 from a Tomato + 1/4 from Mozzarella....my friend took the Mixed Salad for 6€, was ok if you don’t mind that ingredients came from a can. Pizza are good, we order Fungi (be careful here it is with Ananas). We took extra Mushrooms and were disappointed, it came from a can too.

Service was pleasant. Food was okay. The Bacalhau was a bit too salty. The Espetada Porco dish could have a bit more meat added to it. Also, we were charged double for bread & butter starter. On the menu it says 3.50€ for 1 & we were charged 7€. (yet we only ordered 1) When asked about it, they said that’s how it is for 2 people. Doesn’t make much sense. I would only go back for the Cheesecake to be honest.

Sorry, I cannot condone this. This is much too industrialised. While I have several, the key takeback here is the dough; it’s clearly mass produced - which is a shame, as it would have been an easy improvement upon this establishment. Instead, you are left with a dead base with no airation and no puff. The canvas of the pizza is simply lost.

For what it’s worth; I went with the sardine pizza. The topings were not bad, the sardines were meaty and umami-rich, the onion was tasty and caramelised, yet for a pizza one simply cannot compensate for a poor crust.

PS: In the event restaurant staff may read this, the feedback is given in the best intention. I want nothing else then for you to succeed. My intention is to provide pointers for...

We were looking for Italian food in Madeira. Saw the pizzaria neon sign as we were walking. Super tidy, cozy place with checkerboard tablecloths. Menu has a number of Italian staples with a portuguese twist.

We ordered a pizza combo with egg in it, bruschetta and lasagna. The pizza was good and the crust well cooked and thin as it should be. The sausage was not as an American might like but more German style. The bruschetta was different from most. It was layered in cheese and had been put in the oven. Very good. The lasagne was served in a shallow bowl, was thinner than typical and had a lot of good cheese on it The portions were generous, Service was great!...

We accidentally went to this restaurant without reading the reviews. The interior is welcoming and cozy, but that's the only plus of the restaurant! The waiters ignored us for a long time and didn't come up to take our order. They just stood in the room and talked to each other. The meat and potatoes were cooked disgustingly. It's amazing how they could ruin such a simple dish. I ordered sweet potatoes as an extra, but they brought regular potatoes instead! The waiter laughed and said that this was a "sweet potato". It could have been taken for translation difficulties, but the name was batata on the Portuguese menu. After the main course, our cutlery was removed and we just sat for about 15 minutes waiting for our desserts. Until they called the waiter (standing a meter away from us and pretending that we weren't there) and found out that they forgot about our desserts. I don't recommend this place. Their good location attracts visitors, but they do absolutely nothing to leave a...
