We were shown to our table by the owner, who gave advice on what my wife could eat as she is celiac, and therefore gluten free. I ordered the 330gm steak which you cook yourself on a hot stone, it was an excellent choice and we both agreed it was the best meal of our holiday. Both husband and wife (Joe & Benny) were very efficient in their working practises and you could see that their staff followed their directions. On the second night my wife ordered Cajun chicken and queried if it was gluten free, and the owner got the spice jar to show that there was no gluten in it. Read moreHad an overall very good experience at Espettus. The service was excellent as was the atmosphere. I sat in the front section of the restaurant which is somewhat like an enclosed patio. It's a little cooler here on a warm day and most people seem to opt for it.
Overall the food was quite good. I ordered the Rodizio experience and the food came to tableside fairly quickly. I should mention I was seated right at dinner service opening so I was a little surprised that a couple of the meats were overcooked. It's something you might expect later in the evening.
The Bolo do Caco was fabulous and I could easily have filled myself with a couple of additional loaves. The salad bar was fresh and provided ample choices.

The meat was ok, however it wasn’t clear for us that they come around with every type of meat one time. Meaning if you skip some, or think to take it easy in the beginning as you don’t know what is coming next, you might end up hungry. I thought they had a system with all you can eat, with the red/green disk, but they don’t have this. As we did not understand this well from the beginning the waitress offered us one extra type of meat to our liking, once we realised they would not come around with more meat.
