My recent visit to "Forum Madeira" in Funchal was a bit disappointing. The limited variety of shops and the noticeable lack of cleanliness, especially in the restroom facilities, were quite concerning. Unfortunately, it seems that the cleanliness issue is prevalent throughout the island, which is unfortunate.
The lack of diverse shopping options was underwhelming, and I had hoped for a more extensive selection. The cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms, was far from satisfactory and detracted from the overall experience. It's a shame that such a crucial aspect of maintaining a pleasant environment is not being adequately addressed.
Compared to other shopping centers, "Forum Madeira" definitely falls short. The establishment should take these issues seriously and work towards providing a better experience for visitors. Everything from a cinema, a supermarket where you can eat in, to a children's play area on the ground floor. All the big names are here Zara shops which is - Zara kids shop, Zara home, Zara Mens and Zara Womens. C & A, H & M, Sports shops, Jewellery. Cosmetics, Shoes etc. Plenty of places to eat on the top floor and throughout the different levels. Plenty of clean cloakrooms too. The whole area is a pleasure to walk through if you have the stamina. Above all the high standard of cleanliness throughout is something that is very noteworthy of Madeira, almost anywhere you go.
