This squid kebab was an absolute disaster. I can confidently say it was the worst squid I have ever had the misfortune of ordering. It's astonishing how something can lack so much taste. In fact, I'd argue that a glass of water has more flavor than whatever abomination was served to me. I typically refrain from writing reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about the criminal offense this restaurant committed by serving such low-quality food. This dish easily takes the crown for the single worst culinary experience I have ever had in a restaurant, and that's saying something. The price was 17€. If they would offer me a lifetime of free meals of this dish, I would comfortibly decline. Food ok, nothing special and seems quite overpriced. I ordered a squid skewer, didn't enjoy it very much, so wouldn't recommend it. My daughter had a chicken breast skewer, again- too pricey for what you get. My husband is Portuguese, he had a house-style cod, he thought it was tasteless. 1 litre of Sangria is 13.50 €. The bill was over 70€ for the family of 4 ( including a toddler who only had chips and no main meal), it's a bit pricey. The reason why we went to dine here is because at the entrance they have a big stand that says "Optional menu" and dishes from that menu are priced more reasonably (10- 13€). The food was realy well made and good quality. I requested potatoes and vegetables instead of chips and salad and I was given enough it with no hassle and for the same price. My 3 children are fussy eaters but ate everything and they want to go back. The restraunt is decorated Portuguese style and very nice. The waiter was well manured. My only negative point is that the 1 litre bottle of water we ordered was half frozen and we all ended up very thirsty waiting for it to defrost. When we left it was still frozen.
