On the plus side, the coffee tastes great and it is spacious, and the pasteis de nata tastes great, and it is spacious and the service is lovely.
On the minus side we asked for advice to choose a pastry and were told the âBrigadeiroâ Is all about chocolate, in reality we couldnât taste the chocolate and we could only taste the sugar. I will come back though and try sonething else and leave another review.
I went back and tried a croissant with Almonds. It was not good, i am French and I know my croissant⊠that was not all that fresh. It must have been in there for a few hours.
Final Fazit: I give this place 4 stars for the beautiful location, the delicious coffee and good and always fresh pasteis de nata (only good because they are a little bit too sweet). The staff is also perfectly nice even though they are a bit slow and seem disorganised.
Strange thing is, I still love this place and will have more coffees on their big terrace in the future!
I also tried the homemade bread. It looked great but haf no crust⊠go to lidl for bread.
I somehow hope they one day look at the comments and refocus their...

I ordered a Cheesecake and a Red Velvet Cake from Delicias Bakery in Lagos for my wifeâs birthday on April 8th. When I arrived in the evening to collect the cake, I was shocked to find a cockroach on it as it was being presented to me at the shop.
When I pointed this out to the staff member, instead of apologizing, he claimed it was my fault for arriving a few hours late to pick up the cake. I was stunned by the response â blaming a customer for a hygiene issue that clearly should have been avoided regardless of the pickup time. He even said I have to take the cake, as its my fault!!
What was supposed to be a special birthday surprise turned into an embarrassing and frustrating experience. I left the shop empty-handed, deeply disappointed, and had to explain to my wife why there was no birthday cake.
Cleanliness and basic customer service should be a priority for any food establishment, especially a bakery. Sadly, this experience has completely eroded my trust in...
Read moreI come here a couple times a month because they have a more diverse selection of pastries than many other pastelarias. A good selection of different doughnuts, brigadeiros, cakes, etc.
I'm particularly fond of their quindim.
Coffees are decent, sandwiches are actually pretty good, and yogurt bowls hit the spot. They're a little light on cereal, and not filling but a nice mix of fresh fruits.
There is one gentleman behind the cash who is really nice and friendly to all, but most of the servers are not. Don't expect smiles, greetings or patience with questions. Especially if you are not Portuguese. But they are perfunctory and do their jobs.
The patio is nice and there is a...
