Peiking II — Restaurant in Lagos

My family and l arrived to Portugal and walked to this restaurant. We were hungry. My son asked what the waiting time was as we were willing to wait. The lady/owner at the restaurant just replied with "no". My son repeated the question again,, she replied with "no" as she wanted us to leave. One of the other customers who was seated at a table looked at me as if she couldn't believe how the server/owner was responding. It was obvious that this restaurant had no intentions of serving black people. Everyone in the restaurant where white. They will never have to worry about us returning to their restaurant. It's a shame that this racism is still going on. If you're off color be ware if you're thinking of going here! We never had an issue with any other restaurant. As a half chinese person I would approve this resturant. They serve very classic dishes such as egg fried rice, fried noddles and fried pork and beef. They do also have dishes in a more authentic manner such as fried and roasted duck. They all taste amazing though. I have come here on 2 seperate occasions and was not once let down on the food. 菜做得特别好!

Service was also on a standard and good level. Waitress was nice and accommodating. The food did take a little while to come out but it was not too bad. Just slightly longer then you would expect.

The big and cool area made the atmosphere a perfectly standard compliment to the experince. The view of the outside garden and their pool was a nice addition the definitely improved the atmosphere.

Definitely a place worth visiting if you like chinese food and find yourself...

As Chinese we rarely have dinner at Chinese restaurant, simply because you have little chance eating the real Chinese food at a restaurant in Europe. However, this restaurant satisfied us very much (not far from our hotel), not only the food itself, but also their surprisingly reasonable price vs quantity compared to what we have in Norway. Recommended food includes hot and sour soup, peking duck and so on. We stayed two nights at Lagos in August 2023 and have dinner there on both days. The first day my wife and I shared one hot and sour soup, and the other day we ordered two portions, we liked it very much.
