Bar Duna Beach — Restaurant in Lagos

If you like to have a great dinner at the beach, this is a place to go. We were "Lounge-like" seated (but still very comfortable to eat), the staff is very friendly and nice and the food was really delicious. We had extremely well cooked fish plates with top fish quality. Also the dessert was just delicious. And the portions are not small. This is a beach club, that offers you a completely different experience for dinner. And that's a great one. Because they do the dinner part only, because they want to do it. Very nice place but expensive! I ordered a salad with olives, almonds and fish for 14!€ I imagined to get a big salad with crunchy almonds, olives and fresh fish on it. But all I got was a huge plate with one mini sized piece of bread on it and on the side I got a bowl of tomatoes and cucumbers and a glass of pickled fish. I searched for the olives and almonds… found them in the glass, also pickled. After lunch and having left a lot of money we had a short swim in the pool and I grabbed a sunbed (old and a bit dirty). I frequently pass by this establishment during the off-season and have observed that three dogs are consistently kept tethered near the swimming pool, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While they are occasionally taken for walks, they remain confined to a short chain for the majority of their time on the property. This lack of adequate space and constant tethering, regardless of the weather conditions, raises serious concerns about animal welfare.
