A Padaria Portuguesa — Restaurant in Lisbon

I came and asked if they still had soup which is part of the 4.95 sandwich, soup and drink deal/menu. They lady told me they still had, then she checked and informed me they were out. I asked her if there was an item that could replace the soup and she told me they had bags of sweet potato chips, for an additional .50 cents. I asked her if it was indeed 5.45 total for a sandwich, drink and chips no soup, and she said "that's right."

I walked out without making a purchase. The rude behaviour, lack of flexibility in situations like these is absolutely unacceptable. This company recently raised all their prices across all their shops and they run out of things 2 hours before close and fail to accomodate customers accordingly? Disgusting, greedy and repulsive behaviour...

Your average Padaria Portuguesa: decent food, good coffee and not overly expensive. The neighbourhood is quiet and this place isn't usually too crowded. There is a large outdoors seating area where you can enjoy the sunshine. There is a major annoyance though: there are too many pigeons outside which get very aggressive and can spoil your meal. Can you please look into...

On my visit in this area of Lisbon. Food tastes great and is surprisingly cheap. They had someone who speaks proper and clear English. Reason why I gave a 5 stars of service.

Ambiance is a casual cozy little place. Not to spectacular but the place was full.

No wonder why! Good cheap and quick.

Highly recommend and will probably go again...
