Verde Mar — Restaurant in Lisbon

The hostility of the waiters was unbelievable, and I'm particularly refering to the slim, short waiter. The non-verbal cues were very passive aggressive (not sure whether because my Portuguese was very basic or simply because he's an incompetent waiter). His demeanor was unwelcoming and the service overall was beyond mediocre.

The waitress was a bit better but she was staring too much at me and was asking too many personal questions that were none of her business, although I understand she was just trying to make a conversation.

Note to the owner: I'm already used to having mediocre service in some areas in Lisbon, but this was beyond disappointing. You should really train your staff some social skills,...

Lumiar was needing a "marisqueira". This said, I wouldn't go across town for it..but again, now I won't go across town for many others and ill stay right here. Fresh seafood. Well prepared. Moderate prices if you are careful in orderin the great seafood platters ;)

Update: Quality is still good but one must be careful with starters as prices and portions can be deceptive and end up being more expensive than anticipated...a lot more expensive. That said, great...

Ths is a seafood restaurant but to be honest for the first time I went there I didn't try the seafood (only the meat - rabbit and pork ribs in the pictures). The second time I tried some seafood and it was expensive for the quality provided - clearly not a good quality ratio. The restaurant is spacious and you can seat outside (a very noisy because of the cars passing by). The service is normal/bad. Overall, I am definately not going to visit this...
