This is not the first time my husband and I have been to the BLOOM restaurant. Our previous trips to Lisbon were always accompanied by a visit to this wonderful establishment. And this time he did not disappoint us. Granola Bowl, Cheese and Bacon, Tacos, Eggs Benedict, Basil Lemonade - all of these dishes were absolutely excellent! We were served by the charming and friendly Anastasia. Her recommendations were accurate and her actions were prompt. The atmosphere in the restaurant, the quality of the dishes, and the service left a pleasant aftertaste and a desire to come back here again. I recommend!

Basic trendy cafe without interesting character or speciality. Chain restaurant inspired decoration with music. I went there for breakfast. I saw the review point was 4.8 and wanted to try. However it was not that good. The ingredients weren't special or good quality, I believe it's the main necessity to have for brunch restaurant. The sausage wasn't actually edible. And bacon was burned ( they replaced with the uncooked one after we said it's burnt). Preparation took a bit too long for a breakfast. Inside was full of people, thought it is a good sign but it was overloaded in a small area. I didn't want to write bad review as you can see their intention is good. However I felt deceived with their point and they charged extra for the replacement of gluten free bread, it wasn't even a whole slice bread. So it was bad attitude for me and I am disappointed.

Foi nossa primeira vez, minha e do meu marido que acabara de chegar de uma viagem de 6 horas de voo. Inicialmente, pedimos dois cappuccinos, dois The Big breakfast 2 sumos de laranja. Os cappuccinos chegaram rapidamente. Terminamos de tomar os cappuccinos e os pratos demoraram a chegar e quando finalmente trouxeram, foi apenas um, mesmo tendo pedido dois iguais e havendo dois pratos no balcão. Ficamos olhando para a atendente e esperando que trouxessem o segundo, mas nada aconteceu. Então, olhei para ela e disse: "Pedimos dois iguais". Ela admitiu que não havia entendido e anotado apenas um. Compartilhamos aquele prato, eu e meu marido, enquanto aguardávamos o segundo. Esperamos por mais de uma hora e o segundo prato nunca chegou. Estávamos sentados em uma mesa ao lado do balcão e podíamos ver pratos semelhantes ao nosso, sendo servidos em outras mesas, enquanto o nosso pedido era ignorado. Para distrair meu marido, pedi um café americano, mas também não foi entregue. Quando vimos outro prato igual ao nosso, sendo servido para um cliente, que chegou depois de nós, decidimos levantar, cancelar o segundo prato e o café americano, que também não havia sido preparado. Ficamos extremamente desapontados. Quando um funcionário esquece ou comete um erro no pedido de um cliente, é essencial que o pedido seja priorizado. Jamais se deve deixar o cliente esperando por um tempo absurdo, ainda mais quando ele observa outros pedidos semelhantes ao seu sendo servidos em outras mesas. Também sugiro que adquiram mais frascos de pimenta e sal, pois quando me levantei para pedir ao rapaz do balcão, ele informou que só havia dois disponíveis e estavam sendo usados em outra mesa. Ao nos levantarmos, movidos pela frustração, para cancelar nosso pedido e o café americano, a outra atendente nos presenteou com dois cookies, como forma de pedido de desculpas. Agradecemos por essa gentileza no final, mas nunca mais voltaremos a este lugar! Saímos com fome, depois de uma longa espera, sem sucesso!

Very disappointing experience here today. I’ve been here before the food has always been nice. I took my father here and he orders eggs royale ….the eggs were not cooked properly and were very runny. I spoke to the waitress who apologised and said she would make another. We waited for another 30 minutes and in the end asked for the bill. We were very disappointed that they brought the bill including the cost of the eggs royale. When I challenged this and spoke to the manager, she said that I had to pay and she didn’t have the authority to take the cost off the bill. Very disappointed with this level of service.

I had mixed feelings about this restaurant. I liked the service and the drinks. However I personally felt like the Sweet Confession was a let down. It needed something else inside it as it was simply a Nutella like chocolate with pistachios on top, so when you had finished eating the top you were left with a lot plain pancakes. It just needed something else. I felt quite sick afterwards. The salmon in the Black Jack was also quite red and I did not really feel like it was cut or presented in a particularly appealing way. This is just a personal preference. I do not think I'd go back.
