BLOOM - Bistro & Burgers — Restaurant in Lisbon

We visited this café, and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the service. Our waitress Luísa was unfriendly and seemed irritated, as if our presence was a burden. She didn’t assist us with choosing dishes and showed no interest in explaining anything on the menu. At the end, instead of calculating the bill, she simply tossed the check on the table and said, “Calculate it yourselves, let me know when you’re done.” This was incredibly unpleasant and absolutely unacceptable for a place that should focus on creating a welcoming environment for its guests.

Another uncomfortable situation occurred with a family with children who wanted to have breakfast at the café. At the entrance, they asked if they could come in with a stroller, to which the same waitress said that the stroller wouldn’t fit, even though the café was half-empty, and there was plenty of space available. The family was about to leave, but we offered them to place their stroller near our table — there was more than enough space for it. This came across as an unnecessary lack of willingness to help.

We had such a great experience here. We came in planning to try a few things but ended up sharing almost half the menu, and everything was genuinely delicious.

We started with the hummus, falafel, and fresh guacamole with tortilla chips—all super fresh and full of flavor. The tacos were a favorite, really well seasoned and nicely put together. The ramen was comforting and rich without feeling heavy, and the burgers were perfectly cooked and juicy.

They also have a great selection of drinks. We tried cocktails based on rum, tequila, and whiskey, and you can tell they use quality spirits. The drinks were balanced and creative without overcomplicating things.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a nice modern touch. Service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and happy to make recommendations.
