Cantinho do Táxi — Restaurant in Lisbon

This restaurant is Everything a portuguese restaurant should be. Good food, good prices, good portions and great service.

Daily dishes vary, but quality remains high.

Mr.Zé is one cool guy always making fun and teasing you but with a good heart. Also he works a lot serving all tables at once. There is loads of places to sit.

I stayed there almost 3 hours. 4 people ate, then we drank mugs of beer, 2 more friends joined us halfway and we drank a looot.

And yet bill was under 85 eur.

Cantinho do taxi is A true Gem in Lisbon, favoured by locals, emigrants and tourists a like.

So please when you go, make sure to leave a tip. It will still be cheap and places like this deserve to be supported...

I have eat here before and the dish I had was great and good price, BUT last night I went there and ordered two pregos (beef sandwich) Wich were impossible to eat. The restaurant was closing down for the night but they said they can take our order but I am sure the pregos were made fast and with 0 care. I hope if I go next time I will...

O interior tem pouco espaço mas a esplanada compensa melhor. A comida é caseira, popular( iscas, feijoada, bitoque, frango etc), e é bem confecionada. O atendimento é efciente rápido e simpático. O preço é €7.50 e inclui bebida, sbremesa e café. Tem carris á porta: 735, 706 e 730. Tudo mudou: allheira com batata frita e ovo estrelado não está no menu( saiu-me caro), vinho tinto da casa de fraca qualidade, mousse de chocolate instantânea muito mal confeccionada( sentia o pó e parecia estar a beber água). O café tira o vício O atedimento e esclarecimentos parecem um favor que prestam aos clientes Não pude deixar de ouvir uma reclamação, aliás muito pertinente porquanto se prendia com a higiene a ser observada com os alimentos, de um cliente que acabou por abandonar com outro dois este espaço após reclamação verbalizada de forma bem audível em pleno estabelecimento. Como tal não voltarei...
