Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at "Marítima de Xabregas" with some friends and, despite a somewhat confused service and slightly extended waiting times, the experience was very rewarding. The kitchen offers truly exquisite traditional Portuguese dishes and the portions are quite generous.
At the start of the meal, we were treated to an assortment of appetizers: a tomina cheese, flavorful olives, various sauces, and fresh bread, all of which were very much appreciated and tasty.
As for my choice, I opted for an omelette with fries, simple but well-executed, and concluded with a slice of chocolate cake that provided the perfect end to a satisfying dinner. The restaurant's decor has an old-timey atmosphere, adding to the charm of the place. The prices are absolutely reasonable.

I went with a group of 10 people and we ordered a few portions of cod and a few large steaks to divide between ourselves; the cod was good and matched the price, but the steak was dry and mostly tasteless. The first waiter we spoke to about this complaint essentially stared at us, then walked away without a word, seemingly uninterested.
