This old looking front door hides a great refuge for good portuguese food, with a pleasant service, attentive and timely. The house wine is a great choice. The chocolat mousse is dark chocolate without too much sugar... veeeery good. We will surely come back for these generous plates of comfort food, very close to the Museum of Azulejo (tiles). I am a fan now.

Traditional Portuguese restaurant near national tile museum. The owner is very kind and recommended us their special "Dish of the day" It reminded me my home meal in Thailand. The price is reasonable and the wine is really cheap. The wonderful choice for a lunch after the museum trip.

A true Portuguese food in all its glory. Only locals dine here so I was truly lucky to accidentally discover this hidden gem. Family run restaurant with amaazing food and great and friendly staff! Must try!!!!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Saturday afternoon lunch at O Germano! She ordered Sea Bass and vegetables which she enjoyed and I had the Chicken Skewers with the most delicious French Fries I ever tasted. I learned the chief of this quaint but charming restaurant is the owner and she takes pride in every dish. The place is clean with an atmosphere that only locals can provide. I highly recommend...

We ate lunch here in late September when a nearby museum closed for its lunch break, and enjoyed it very much. Staff were very helpful and the food was great. They rely on locals for their business, so you are definitely getting authentic food. We had battered/fried sardine cousins, açorda de ovas, and...
