We had been to the tile museum and were looking for an off the beaten path place for lunch. Is is an unassuming cafe, but what a wonderful find for lunch. The menu here changes daily because it is based on what is in the market. They cook what they feel will be enough for the day's lunch. Once the food for that days lunch sells out, they close. So the food is fresh and delicious. We ordered 3 different items grilled chicken w/ fries, vegetable oven bake w/rice and salad and a vegetable lasagna with salad. Everything was delicious. There is dining inside or in a patio area towards the back. The...

Very good local vegetarian restaurant! We don’t speak Portuguese since we are tourists but the server spoke English and helped us understand the menu which is small and only in Portuguese.

We had carrot soup, mushroom fritter, watermelon juice, vegetable spaghetti. Everything was delicious but the juice, soup, and fritter were truly exceptional. Very affordable and wonderful meal. We enjoyed it very much and were so glad we found this spot. Very close to the tile museum too which...

We had lunch here after a visit to the Azulejo museum, based on existing reviews. It’s not that easy to find vegetarian food in Portugal. The food here was fresh, healthy and tasty. There was also a meat choice. We had a wonderful vegan custard for dessert. We ate it too fast to take a picture. Fabulous service from the owner. Interesting quotes from her own poetry on the walls. Thoroughly charming place, give it a...

Probably the best yet underrated vegetarian restaurant in the whole city. Hands down. Service and environment are as amicable as they can be. It's just a lady and her cook yet their food evokes dreams and wonders. It's simple, it has flavour, it tastes and feels like home. It has everything I could ever hope for a restaurant. On an ending note, It's cheap. Ps.: If they have the cook's signature dessert, don't sleep on it.
