Traveled to Portugal in July 2023 and randomly came across this place on Google Maps (since it was close to our Airbnb). It was the highlight of my entire two weeks in Spain and Portugal. I still think about it every day because the exceptional quality of the food literally brought me to tears. We went with 4 people and ordered the following entrees: Ossobuco, Xinxim Chicken, Grilled Chicken with Mango Rice and Curd, and the Pumpkin Gnocchi. All four dishes were PHENOMENAL, but I think the Pumpkin Gnocchi and the Xinxim Chicken were my personal favorites. We also got all three desserts (Chocolate Mousse, the 'Romeo and Juliet', and the Student Cake) which were all outstanding. We got the Licor Beirão and Amendoa Amarga to drink and loved them enough to take some home with us too! Both the owner and chef were incredibly kind, spending lots of time making us feel welcome, chatting with us at our table, and just being genuinely amazing humans. This place is an absolute MUST for anyone traveling through Lisboa, and I cannot wait to go back to Portugal specifically to eat here again. You can tell the level of care, love, and attention to food, ambience, and detail that goes into everything they do here, and I cannot recommend them enough! My only regret is that I was so busy enjoying myself that I forgot to take pictures...
