Ventiquattro 24 — Restaurant in Lisbon

Pizza’s and service are a 3/4, but they don’t accept visa or MasterCard. They knew I was not Portuguese as I got the English menu. Last I checked it was 2022 and they don’t accept card????

They say they only accept Portuguese cards so what that tells me they want to discriminate against all other EU or global cards. Considering the amount of tourists in Lisbon and the local area is full of embassies, you’d expect more.

Great find near (+- 15 minute walk) Torre de Belem. The pizza base was thin, crispy and not fat at all: almost a bit like flat bread. The pizza burrata was creamy and had some sweet cherry tomatoes. The ansjovas pizza had only a few different ingredients (capers, ansjovis, peppers, and cheese), but every bite was packed with flavor. The location looks clean and cozy. Definitely a recommendation to visit when in the mood...

Perdemos todo o interesse no restaurante, dado que mesmo tendo ligado a marcar, chegámos ao local e a mesa ainda não estava disponível, até aqui tudo bem, prontamente dissemos que não havia problema e ficámos a aguardar. Entretanto, chegou um casal, claramente, conhecido da chefe de sala e quando percebemos os senhores estavam sentados e nós não.
