I have been coming to Almancil / Quinta do Lago Portugal for 25 years and I am pleased to say I have managed to find a gem of a fish restaurant in Quarteria that is owned by a fisherman Every dish had a flavour and taste and cooked to perfection. The fish is fresh and very well-seasoned. You can choose your own fish, and it was really well-cooked, the fish also comes with salad and a rice or potato option. We also ordered the fried cuttlefish (choco frito) and it was also very yummy. They only serve fish that caught during that day, so I recommend coming not too late otherwise they might run out of fish. Simply delicious. On a normal weekday for lunch the place is full and you might have to wait a bit, but 100% worth it. As a starter we had the Amêijoas and were saying that we could keep on eating it all day long. For main the soup with shrimps.
