Not sure where to eat in Quarteira? Give A Gaivota a try, you will not regret. Amazing starters, the mains are out of this world and when it comes to fresh fish believe me you will get the catch of the day, guaranteed. Fresh from the grill I would definitely recommend the "Linguado" (sole/halibut/flounder) or the juicy tuna stake. Also the rack of lamb with mint sauce was something special. The deserts are home made, keep some free space for their Mama's special or the red fruits cheesecake. The staff and the owner are so welcoming, polite and will make you feel right at home. I cannot forget to mention the location is wonderful. Sea front view with a scenery that is breath taking at sunset. Their indoors room is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows so you will not miss a thing. Highly recommended.

Beach front restaurant on the boardwalk. Great menu and good variety of daily catch. the daily catch is double the regular menu prices but you pay for fresh fish. The fish was really good but the sides were not up to par. The side salad was absolutely bland, the boiled potatoes were ok. Their dessert menu is extensive. Of course, I tried Mama's special cake and join the others in the cheer for this dessert- phenomenal! Evening time adds a pretty sunset view as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend!

Visited this beach bar twice now, so time for a review. On both occassions we ate and I have been pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the food. My wife is a keen fish eater and has twice had fish here. Excellent has been her opinion. I had the Black Pork Beef burger and I will say without hesitation it was one of the best I have ever had. Notwithstanding how hungry I was at the time. The location is furst class and the staff very helpful. Will be going back for a third visit soon.

Lovely, modern restaurant right on the beach in Quarteira. The food was very tasty, as well as the sangria. Arguably a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I had the salmon with goats cheese, which was absolutely delicious and very filling. They also do a nice iced coffee. Lastly, the staff were extremely welcoming and professional. I'm surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating. Would highly recommend if you're ever visiting Quarteira.

Gaivota is easily one of my favorite restaurants here in Quarteira. The food is always fabulous and quite often they have amazing specials like the salmon tartar I had recently which was amazing. The service is second to none and that it is essentially right on the beach with amazing views is a huge plus.
