We stopped there for lunch after taking a stroll in the covered market. We were almost too late for lunch and we took a chance! The waiter was friendly and the menu was in both Portuguese and English which was helpful. We ordered a few mains that we shared tapas style. All food were delicious but the best was for sure the cuttlefish stew. The beefsteak was also yummy and the bill wall amazing value for money considering we had some "vinho verde" (green wine) and more. I would visit again!

Consigliato come buon ristorante tipico di pesce. Ovviamente entrando si vede un un'ambiente elegante ma un po datato. Pochissimi i turisti. Numerose foto di eventi. Cameriera molto frettolosa nel prendere ordine. Buoni i tavoli e mise en place, secchiello per il vino ma servizio assente, neppure un frangino. Vi portano immediatamente pane olive e burro ma guardando menu sono a pagamento fortunatamente qui da loro neppure tanto. Ho ordinato un piatto tipico delle sardine: non eccellente taglia piuttosto grossa e quindi pulizia e spinatura richiesta. Insalata mista servita su vassoio anziche boule. Branzino buono, esagerata la quantita di patate. Buono il caffe. Prezzo basso vista la posizione e il passato non e comprensibile. Se non siete esigenti si puo passare una serata. Dispongono anche tavoli all'esterno, Tv alle pareti per eventi sportivi.

We've ate here before so knew what the food was like. It was quite busy for a Wednesday night. We ordered the bread, pate and cheese, and half a litre of house white wine, a steal at 3.50 euros. We both ordered the sea bream which came with potatoes and veg. A lot of places seem to be offering salad which seems an easy option for them. Terrible food. Visited this restaurant 2 weeks ago when we went to Loule Market. My husbands fish was really over cooked. It was hard. My food was cold & not very good either.
