The Beach Bar Vale do Lobo — Restaurant in Loulé

So here's the story about my 2* for this spot. There were 9 of us that rolled in this spot because of the live music and good atmosphere. We ordered the staff was super nice, food came in somewhat quick and it was delicious.

And that's where the dream of a beach bar ended.

As we start to eat, a footie game acme on the telly. And you know what I didn't mind it when they turned it on... but it wasn't the turning on that bothered me and my group. It was how LOUD they turned it on.

The TV was so loud that we had a hard time hearing each other on our table, and the live music outside which was pleasant earlier just became an awful racket.

We called the staff and politely asked if they could turn the TV down slightly, response - "Sorry, football is on..."

We chose this restaurant because of the good music and vibe that was very evident from the outside, and it was absolutely ruined by a couple of the table staff who didn't even care how we felt about the fact that we didn't have an option to chose not to sit by loud blaring TV.

Would I recommend? Maybe I would, but just if you don't like football, make sure that you don't sit inside... my experience ended in a terrible headache, instead of a pleasant...

Employee with braids “His name is Rafael” was super rude when i walked in the Beach direction at night. And he pushed me physically when I wanted to ask about opening times during the day. He probably thought i’m not moving but that is unacceptable. I said don’t touch me and he pushed me further and told me to f off. Unacceptable. I did not have alcohol that night and spent 30€ on soft drinks.

We spent many hours here after a day on the beach. It’s a great place to wind down after getting a little too much sun.

The drinks are well priced for VDL and there is a good selection of cocktails. We had a few nibbles to tide us over before dinner and the food was nice enough.

There was a band on for a few hours in the afternoon who provide great entertainment and even took requests.

I would have happily given 5 stars but the staff tried to charge us for the same orders multiple times which may well have been a mistake although 3 separate...
