It is easy to miss this place located beneath the very visible Pescador Restuarante, but it is not some hole-in-the-wall and certainly not to be missed while in Machico! Once we discovered Massa Mia, we quite literally ended up eating lunch there everyday and got a take-away pizza once for an evening meal. (One pizza will satisfy the appetites of two in most cases.) The best beef estapadas (kabobs) we've ever had--and very consistent. It was hard to order anything else, but we forced ourselves! Everything we tried was great--the garlic bread too good! The food was fine, but I don't intend to spend 90minutes at lunch in a...
