This is a restaurant focused on fish and some shellfish. It is located right next to the sea port (and beach) although I don't believe that the fish comes directly from there... I believe that today, all fish must come through the gross market. Nevertheless, the fish is very fresh and grilled upon requests. You can actually look, inspect and choose the fish directly from the ice trays. It is a small place (maybe 20 seats) and it usually has a large waiting line. It is a bit noisy and it doesn't have much of an "atmosphere". The staff is nice but the service and food preparation may take a while. Overall the food is very good but I don't think it is better than others due to it's proximity to the sea... Meaning, if you can't get a seat here there are other options around that should be also good. It seems a bit expensive; large fishes like cantaril, pargo, robalo, sargo are sold by the kilo. You should spend around 20-25eur per person...
Read moreThis restaurant has a real “sailor” feel, it’s located nearby a dockyard and there’s always a bunch of rough looking locals sitting outside drinking and giggling (they’re not dangerous don’t worry 😉) They have a daly special on offer, a fish option and one meaty choice, however you have to pre-order these, unexpectedly. So I had sardines, they were nice and fresh, although I usually prefer more than one potato on side. We finished our meal with a really nice home made cake. The staff speak English and are very helpful....
