Secret Oven | Sourdough Pizza - Ericeira — Restaurant in Mafra

I normally don‘t do reviews but this one was so bad i had to do one. I ordered 2 pizzas, one sweet dessert pizza, some garlic bread and a coke bottle per uber eats. It said it would take 20-40 minutes to deliver. But it came after more than 90 (!) minutes. All the pizzas were absolutely cold. The boxes of the pizzas were completely dirty and even the coke bottle was so dirty that we didn‘t want to drink out of it. (There was even long hair sticking on it.) So i feel bad for leaving such a bad rating, because it seems like normally this doesn‘t happen but i had to say it.

We’ve lived in ericeira 7 years, secret oven is the best pizza in town no doubt in my mind. It is one of the only pizzas I’ve ever had that doesn’t make me feel like I’ve eaten junk food. I’m also gluten sensitive and the sourdough is such high quality it never makes me flair. The wonderful owners and secret oven crew are incredible and have become great friends! So many memories have been made over secret oven pizza on our weekly pizza movie nights, and many more to come! Not to mention how much they invest in local events, artists and more!...

This spot is a hidden gem in Ericeira! The sourdough pizza is incredibly fresh, with a light and perfectly chewy crust that really stands out. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming

I tried the zucchini pizza, which was delicious, but I felt it could use just a touch more salt to bring out the flavors. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual meal and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. The secret margarita is really good.
