Bermelho restaurant & beach bar — Restaurant in Matosinhos

Waiter started by slamming the menu on the table with his back towards us as he was talking to someone else... apparentely he is the manager... so good example for the other employees :) Clearly he wasn't paying any attention when we ordered because eventually 2 of the orders (there were 3 of us) came in, and as the wife and kid started I waited... and waited... and waited... Then when I asked the other waiter... he went to the back and said they misunderstood... I am not even sure what they misunderstood... 3 people... and they bring food for 2? Basic math right? Apparentelly the first guy, the manager, "managed" to understand 3 people - 2 portions... Like I said, from the moment we arrived it was clear he couldn't care less about customers So never went back Plenty...

Há uns 2 anos atrás era difícil encontrar um sítio nesta zona onde se comesse melhor que no Bermelho. Hoje é difícil encontrar um sítio onde se coma pior. Todas as opções da ementa que era preciso ter alguém na cozinha a saber o que faz, foram retiradas. Salsichas, fiambre, queijo, batatas fritas de pacote...tudo isto produtos nitidamente da marca mais barata do pingo doce...foi o que encontrei no meu prato. Uma criança de 9 anos ou menos fazia este "Chachorro á Bermelho" em 2 minutos sem qualquer dificuldade. Comida seca e sem nenhuma variedade de alternativas na ementa vergonhosa que é apresentada ao cliente. Não é sequer concebível que este estabelecimento se auto-denomine de "Restaurante". É um insulto a todo e qualquer estabelecimento digno e honesto de verdadeira restauração. Tudo isto agravado por um atendimento desagradável e cínico. Tenho pena, cresci nesta zona e tenho casa na Agudela há mais de 20 anos. Como tal preocupam-me estes estabelecimentos aqui perto, mas nenhum me preocupa mais que o Bar Bermelho que, enquanto assumido "Restaurante e Bar", alcançou em tão pouco tempo um estatuto...
