Mar de Prata — Restaurant in Matosinhos

I am giving 2 stars. The food was acceptable, maybe even good, but the general experience of going to the restaurant was AWFUL. The waiter asked us to choose our orders outside, where menu was showed (only one side of it), Mentioned menu had only titles of dishes - there is no information what dish actually has (Is this chicken with rice or nudles or is it only chicken?), Then you need to remember your order and the number of it and you can sit. But waiter will come to you after 10 minutes (guess if I still remember number of my order from 100 positions after 10 minutes of waiting) Waiter then came to us and tried to take down our order, but stopped the process 5 times (!!!), because she was busy with phone calls, Uber Eats, etc. After we ask if you can add any nudles or rice, suddenly the other page of the menu exists and the waiter shows it to us. But it’s kinda too late for this, as we are already making order.

General experience felt far away from comfortable. I highly suggest thinking again about the whole process of managing your client. For me this was 1 hour festival of misunderstanding...

We had a family dinner here last month in January 2025. The restaurant is located in Leça da Palmeira, Porto. It was our first and we were surprised with the price. With my family i was searching for restaurant finally we stepped into. It was supercleand and organised. We didn't know really what to order. There was a really nice and cute waitress who was talking english very well. She explanied the menus and helped to order according to the needs of everyone.
