TSUKIMI SUSHI — Restaurant in Matosinhos

Positives: Nice location. Ocean view. Negatives: We arrived quite hungry and decided to try this place out - they have a POS style system that you can use with your phone and order what you want from there (Which I actually quite liked). Sadly, our food took sooooo long to arrive. Other customers were just constantly receiving their orders (some who had even arrived after us). Sushi portions are well below par for buffet style (So order numerous plates of what you like because they're mostly serve only 2 pieces per plate); and when we finally started receiving parts of our order, they completely lost / forgot others we had placed. They only open for 3 hours, for lunch and dinner respectively and so, time to wait is not an afforded luxury. Then they even came to us 30 mins before closing, to place our last orders when they hadn't even completed serving us the rest of a previous order. It was the first time I left a buffet feeling unsatisfied or at least full, benefiting from an "all you can eat". Excellent Sushi house with sea view, good food,, although it was my fifth visit, and third time on that particular table, unfortunately today was very cold on that table, and I talked to the waiter asking her if we could change table, to one that hadn't , a grill of airflow above, she promptly said no, saying that they were all reserved (which wasn't true, because several tables were empty until I leave), and she also said it was not the ac but airflow, nothing she could do about it. Reservamos mesa para as 13:30 tendo feito o primeiro pedido por volta desta hora. Os primeiros pratos chegaram passado 25min e interpolados em intervalos que pareciam uma eternidade. Por volta das 14:20 somos informados que a cozinha fecharia às 14:30 e que se quiséssemos teríamos que fazer o pedido da restante comida nesse mesmo momento. Sendo que tínhamos comido apenas algumas entradas e somente meia dúzia de peças de sushi (para uma mesa de 5 pessoas), fizemos o pedido de várias outras peças. Novamente, os pratos demoraram muito tempo a chegarem à mesa e a partir das 15:00 (hora do suposto fecho do estabelecimento) ainda não teríamos consumido mais do que 5 peças de sushi por pessoa. A partir deste momento, desligaram o ar condicionado e a sala começou a aquecer bastante. Alguns dos pratos pedidos foram chegando e com o conjunto destes fatores deu-se o programa perfeito para a cereja no topo do bolo deste almoço desastroso: recusaram servir-nos bebidas. É impensável recusar bebida aos clientes numa refeição, dando a sensação de que teríamos de comer a comida restante o mais rapidamente possível, sem poder desfrutar de uma refeição que se avizinha agradável. Não sei quais foram os fatores que levaram ao atraso no serviço mas seria rude expulsarem os clientes do estabelecimento pelas 15, não tendo servido comida o suficiente que justificasse o rodízio. Fica a nota de pesar para o staff que teve de ficar até mais tarde a tentar tapar o grande buraco que foi este almoço. Não irei voltar pois nunca tive uma experiência tão negativa num...
