This tiny spa town is just beautiful. Take a picnic and eat in the Eucalyptus trees, watch butterflies flutter past, listen to the bird song, walk the short trail to the top off the river (trickle) source. Enjoy the fabulous local history and hospitality in a bar. Buy local lace, drink local hooch. See the various art works in the local guest shop (take plenty of money this is serious art) Wander under the stars at night. Very romantic if you ate a couple.......

After reading the recent bad reviews I thought I had to see for myself.. unfortunately its no longer the same :( .. the traditional clay oven is no longer used for pao com chouriço.. the atmosphere is not the same and service has certainly gone down hill.. such a shame the new owners do not care about the history or good reputation the old...

Cet établissement ne respecte pas ses clients. Faisant un minimum attention à ma santé, je ne souhaitais pas boire d'alcool et j'ai opté pour un smoothie puisqu'il est écrit à l'entrée que les smoothies sont réalisés avec des fruits frais. Quelle surprise, donc, de voir le serveur sortir un paquet de fruits congelés du congélateur et ajouter au mélange 50% de jus de pomme industriel (alors que le smoothie n'était même pas censé contenir de la pomme). Au-delà du fait que le smoothie était mauvais, je suis absolument scandalisée par le procédé. L'établissement nous vend un produit qui est censé être sain, mais en réalité, nous fait consommer, contre notre volonté, un produit malsain trop sucré. Pour rappel, les jus de fruits industriels favorisent le diabète et l'obésité. Vous n'avez aucun droit de vendre un produit portant atteinte à la santé de vos clients tout en leur faisant croire qu'il est sain. C'est un comportement qui relève de la pure fraude.
