Art Pizza 2024 — Restaurant in Nazaré

I never write bad reviews, instead I just make a note to not go back. However, tonight's experience was so infuriating, I think it needs to be shared. For context, I am visibly heavily pregnant. We placed an order through Uber Eats to pick up around 21:53. The order was supposed to be ready at 22:17. We came there as a family with 2 kids around 22:05, thinking we'll he waiting around 15 minutes, no big deal. While we were there, the waiting time switched to 22:42. Mind you, there is no where to sit so you are standing outside the whole time. I have watched multiple people walk in, order their pizza, pay on the spot and leave with their food within 10 minutes so I know the delay wasn't due to a long queue. When we asked for the status, we kept getting " 3 minutes" reply. They saw a pregnant woman stand outside their shop for over 50 minutes and they did not care. I have lived in nazare for 2 years and never recieved such treatment. I used to recommend them to anyone who asked about good pizza but will have to find a different place that cares for their customers because tonight was...

At first glance, you probably wouldn’t guess how incredible this place is - but honestly, it served the best pizza I’ve ever had.

The shop is small and unassuming, and the man running it - who seems to be both the owner just wow His pizza skills truly shines through in the taste.

There was actually a mix-up with our order, and we received the wrong pizza at first. But when we noticed and mentioned it, he replaced it immediately without hesitation or complaint, and always with a smile. That kind of genuine kindness and customer care made the experience even more memorable.

Both pizzas we ordered were absolutely delicious. Thanks to him, we had a truly satisfying meal.

Quality of the ingredients is solid, but the execution is a bit lacking. This was the Presunto, that I added egg to. The burrata was thrown onto one side and made for a quite wet and cold pie. I had expected the egg to be along the lines of over easy, soft boiled or maybe fried, but it was just thrown in hard boiled underneath the cold wet burrata….and not sure I even got a whole egg.
