Giginaldo — Restaurant in Oeiras

Giginaldo located in Nova Oeiras in Palmeiras Shopping is a local diamond. The best italian restaurant I've ever been. The starters are delicious (the pumpkin soup, burrata and the salami rolls and shrimp rolls are simply amazin), and the main dishes are also fabulous. We tried the fantastic mushroom and aspargous risotto and a calzone pizza and we just wanted to eat more and more. For dessert you also have some sweet pizza. My recent dining experience at this restaurant left me with mixed feelings. The place boasted impressive decorations, but its location within a mall took away some of its charm. However, the saving grace was the fantastic pizza that was served. 🇵🇹 Bonita lojinha num shopping muito antigo, infelizmente muito escondido no canto das traseiras. As pizzas e massas eram boas. No entanto, as pizzas eram um pouco gordurosas.

As pizzas grandes são servidas sobre uma tábua de madeira, que absorve o óleo e a gordura velhos e por isso nota-se um sabor ligeiramente rançoso ao comer uma pizza. No geral, uma boa pizza.

Os preços são bastante elevados, mas ainda assim razoáveis.

🇬🇧 A cute little shop in a very old shopping centre, unfortunately very hidden in the back corner. The pizzas and pastas were good. However, the pizzas were a bit greasy.

The large pizzas are served on a wooden board, which absorbs the old oil and grease and so you notice a slightly rancid taste when eating a pizza. Overall, a good pizza.
