SAKURA Oeiras Palmeiras — Restaurant in Oeiras

I ate at the restaurant on Saturday with 3 other people. It was the first time I visited this restaurant, but I had already visited other restaurants.

The only good point of this restaurant is the sushi. The fish is fresh and it is well prepared . The tempura was also really good. The dough was not thick, just prefect.

The bad points of the restaurant for me were the following. All the other food is not well prepared. The restaurant is to small, all the clients are sitting on top of each others. There is almost no space to move. Food we asked for did not came and we had to fill in the paper 3 times to receive certain dishes on the menu. We received things from the menu we did not asked for. This happened 3 times. When we asked for the paper suddenly it was filled in as if I had filled it in. First time I beliefd I had made a mistake, but 3 times a mistake and handwriting that were not mine, wad strange. This was unprofessional and strange dor us. Only one waitress was nice, she also spoke really good portuguese. The other ones ignored the customers or were rude. Not everything in the menu was available. An example they had no Coca-Cola and no mussels. The restaurant has no toilet. You need to leave the restaurant and go to the bathroom outside. The restaurant was not clean and the workplace to prepare the food was to small. This way it is logic they make mistakes.

For me eating at this restaurant was not a good experience. I was the whole time busy with having the right food on the table and was to distracted to pay attention on the taste...

Was not expecting much of this place. I was really wrong. It is an all you can eat restaurant and they give you a menu at the beginning. Wow. We ordered mostly hot dishes and I would definitely say this is one of the best restaurants in town. Will go back and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to eat. Even my husband that doesn't like sushi loved...
