INATEL Oeiras — Hotel in Oeiras

I have stayed in this so called hotel few times, every time thinking it will be better but how wrong I was....||I love the area where it is, it has a lovely marina really close with couple of restaurants which is nice,where is an ice cream place too. Two beautiful beaches within 10 min walk. Easy commute to Lisbon by train.||Inatel it self just getting worse every time||On arrival night we went to our room and walked out to the small terrace every room has it was dark but I have noticed something in the corner - it was a dead bird 🙈 my partner told reception staff about it but I'm still here(nearly week and a half) and no one has removed it yet (my partner had moved it on the main path where kids could not see it). Rooms are very simple, beds comfy enough. Pillows made my neck hurt. My 3 year old paid as an adult but had to sleep in travel cot bed with blanket folded as a mattress 🤔 should u not get a bed if u pay full price?! Play park not working and half of the stuff is broke in it anyway.. Pool is outdated with broken 4 yes 4 sun loungers!!! The rest is plastic chairs, how do u tan on the chair 😂 sun umbrella's stands broken and wind keeps blowing umbrellas away, my partner has actually got hurt by one, then he informed the staff all he was told "we have asked for the new ones". Pool bar not open so u have to go out to even get a bottle of water!!! Kids pool very slippy!! A bad accident is waiting to happen 😔|| Breakfast well breakfast has not changed in ten years 🙈 blue scrambled eggs, terrible sausages, cheap ham, some breads are nice. Staff is not rushing to make sure where is plenty of everything and if u ask they not very happy to help u! terrible instant coffee in coffee machine!|| As an English speaking person I have found that staff does not really want to deal with me, cleaning ladies can be rude and takes stuff out of the room like mats or towels but doesn't replace them u have to keep asking!||It's a quite place with lovely views if u staying in a first row of rooms but potentially it could be amazing if it would be well looked after and more money invested in it!!! FOR NOW THIS IS THE LAST time I'm staying in this place I would not recommend anyone to go there u can get better places on Airbnb for probably a lot less!!|| Hope it improves but I think eventually it's...

Remember this place is Value for money - a Budget Hotel / Motel.| |The hotel is 30 minutes drive from the airport, €37 by taxi.| |The location is nice close to the two beaches within walking distance. The resort has a nice clean swimming pool only for hotel guests.| |Rooms are cleaned every day, to a satisfactory level, but wear and tear are visible in each corner and especially in the bathroom. Our shower was blocked, and water was going out very slowly. I reported it to the receptionist, but nothing has been done. | |Tv is in each room with many-many channels, mostly English, so the lack of entertainment in the evening can be compensated for this way.| |Every unit has a built-in air conditioner.| |Food was a problem. Breakfast was fine, nothing can really go wrong with chopping ham, and cheese, and placing butter, and fruits on the buffet.| |Lunch and dinner are a problem. I don’t think that there is any experienced chef working in the kitchen.| |All was dry, without taste, and re-heated many times. Hotel Review: Inatel Oeiras ⭐⭐⭐

I recently stayed at Inatel Oeiras for 4 nights and had a mixed experience. Here’s my honest review:

Positives: • The location is absolutely stunning. The hotel is situated right by the sea, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. • The grounds are filled with greenery, including plenty of trees and plants, which make the surroundings feel peaceful and close to nature.

. Breakfast was oké, but the restaurant is nice with a view to the sea.

Negatives: • Unfortunately, the room left much to be desired. It was poorly maintained, with noticeable signs of wear and tear. • The bathroom had visible mold, which was very disappointing, and there was a persistent sewage smell that was noticeable not only in the bathroom but also in the room itself. • Housekeeping arrived very late, usually after 3:00 PM, which I found inconvenient as I had hoped to return to a clean room earlier in the day.
