Pizza D'Artista - Povoa de Varzim — Restaurant in Póvoa de Varzim

Terrible service. Ordered a pizza to be taken away and paid for 2 beers. I got served my first beer at which point the waitress took the food order from the four guys sat behind me.

The waitress served my second beer with the first round of drinks for the four guys. Ten minutes later their food is served but I'm still waiting even though I ordered my pizza before them.

I didn't want to be rude so I waited patiently. The guys finished their food at which point I complained to the waitress.

The response I was given was that they decided to hold back my order because I hadn't finished my beer. If that's the case, why were the boys before me served as their drinks were no where near finished.

I'm staying five minutes from the restaurant and unfortunately my pizza is stone cold. I'm not enjoying it and I will never recommend this place.

I should mention though that the 4 delivery drivers got prompt service and their customers had warm pizzas delivered.

This was a massive let down and I would seriously suggest going elsewhere for your pizza. I waited an hour in total for a cold pizza. Thank goodness the two...

Era sexta feira às 13:45 liguei para o restaurante em questão a questionar se ainda podia aparecer, visto que o horário diz que encerra as 15h na hora de almoco. Avisei que ainda estava longe, em casa e que só conseguiria chegar depois das 14h, provavelmente às 14:15, mais coisa menos coisa, porque ia com a minha filha de 5 meses e acontecem sempre imprevistos. Ao que o funcionário que atendeu o telemóvel disse que não havia problema nenhum que iam estar abertos, que serviam comida sem problema . Como não havia problema por parte do restaurante ficou assim combinado eu aparecer com a minha mulher e a minha filha de 5 meses. Como foi a uma sexta-feira a 6 de Setembro, ainda na época de ferias e turismo achei normal o funcionário responder com tanta naturalidade que podia aparecer sem problema nenhum. Qual o meu espanto quando cheguei à porta do restaurante às 14:25, uns minutos depois do combinado, porque foi dificil arranjar lugar de estacionamento, e um funcionário mal deixou entrar no espaço e disse que já nao serviam nada, que ja estava tudo arrumado. Que se quiséssemos fazia o pedido mas para take-away.

Como é óbvio fiquei chateado com a atitude do restaurante. Disse apenas que sendo assim não queria nada e virei costas e o funcionário também. Obviamente deixei de querer comer o que quer que fosse daquele estabelecimento, quando os funcionários tratam assim os clientes eu nem quero imaginar como tratam a comida ao confeciona-la. Serviço horrível quando eu sempre fui simpático e cuidadoso com eles, principalmente na chamada, pois deixei bem explicito que ia sair de casa com um bebé e que se não desse para almoçar hoje iria experimentar noutro dia, que nao havia problema nenhum.

No final da história fica que nunca mais lá irei mesmo sem experimentar a comida, pois quem trata assim clientes nem quero...

This was our surprise find in Povoa De Varzim during our first visit. We were looking for some good pizza restaurant for dinner. The rating of this place was high and were right to be there. The staff is excellent and caring. They take good care of the guests. The pizza are very good and portion size large. Most of guests got it packed as they could not finish it. A very good beer and dessert menu is offered. Loved this place and will certainly revisit...
