Weil die Angestellten äusserst freundlich und herzlich sind, tut mir diese Bewertung ein wenig Leid. Aber das Erlebnis heute war wirklich sehr unschön. Ich habe Tintenfisch-Salat gegessen und einzelne Teile des Pulpos waren definitiv verdorben (schleimig, matschig, weich, bitter, sauer). Ich habe in meinem Leben schon viele viele Pulpo-Salate gegessen – daher bin ich mir sicher, dass Teile davon verdorben waren. So habe ich 2/3 der Portion freundlich zurückgehen lassen. Kurz darauf, musste ich bereits erbrechen. Ich war nicht bereit, für verdorbenen Pulpo zu bezahlen – auch dies habe ich wieder freundlich kommuniziert und brauchte viel Überwindung. Der Kellner hatte Verständnis, der Chef war jedoch äusserst unfreundlich, mit agressivem Ton und kein bisschen einsichtig. Er liess die Polizei rufen (natürlich ein Kollege von ihm). Ende der Geschichte: Ich wollte kein weiteres Drama und hab für vergammelten Pulpo bezahlt. Der Kellner hat mir auch dazu geraten und sogar noch verständnisvoll auf die Schulter geklopft. Wenn der Chef so unfreundlich zu Gästen ist, möchte ich wirklich nicht wissen, wie er zu seinen Mitarbeitern ist. Mit Lebensmittelvergiftungen von Meeresfrüchten, Fischen etc. ist nicht zu spassen und kann sehr gefährlich sein – umso schlimmer die uneinsichtige Reaktion vom Chef.

Como os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e acolhedores, esta avaliação me deixa um pouco triste. Mas a experiência de hoje foi realmente muito desagradável. Comi uma salada de polvo e algumas partes estavam definitivamente estragadas (viscosas, moles, amargas, azedas). Já comi muitas saladas de polvo na minha vida – por isso tenho certeza de que algumas partes estavam estragadas. Por isso, devolvi educadamente 2/3 do prato. Pouco tempo depois, já estava vomitando. Não estava disposto(a) a pagar por polvo estragado – também comuniquei isso de forma educada, o que exigiu bastante coragem. O garçom foi compreensivo, mas o chefe foi extremamente grosseiro, com um tom agressivo e totalmente sem empatia. Ele chamou a polícia (obviamente um conhecido dele). Final da história: não quis mais confusão e acabei pagando pelo polvo estragado. O garçom até me aconselhou a fazer isso e ainda me deu um tapinha compreensivo no ombro. Se o chefe trata os clientes dessa forma, realmente não quero nem imaginar como ele trata seus funcionários. Came here for dinner on Sunday evening and was told that they shut at 7pm, so we had to be there at 5.30pm. It is in a lovely location, overlooking the beach and it was sunny so it was very busy. We managed to get a table on the veranda and we’re then told that they only had sea bass, sea bream and another fish available and no other fish or shellfish, which was a little disappointing. However the waiter suggested we have a large sea bass for 2 which would have more meat on it, which we did, also having some squid rings as a starter with the vinho verde suggested. Together with bunch of friends we've had a great time last week there. The prices were really affordable, the view / vibe of the place simply amazing, service very friendly and helpfull, the Owner friendly enough to let us stay after it was officialy closed, . He invited us and shown the bar, serving all portuguese beers available. Really hoping to return there soon.
