I rarely write a negative review since I believe, that taste is something very personal and almost every restaurant has its place but in this case I need to make an exception.

The atmosphere is surely the best I could tell about The Locomotiva besides the fact that it's way to cold and the AC blows terrible.

The food we had, Bacalau with Breadcrumbs and the Veal Steak were far below average. The sides were completely cold, and the Steak came rare, (close to black and blue) but had been ordered medium. The fish, was cut completely wrong, so all the fishbones were in the crust and a real pain to eat.

After complaining about the cold food, they obviously heated it in the microwave and brought it back without any apologies and even with a piece on the plate that was spit out before because it was not eatable.

As an additional sidenote, the cheese plate is very overpriced for what you get, but this just added up to an terrible overall experience.

Definitely no...

ENG: We went to dinner for the second time at this restaurant. We were quite disappointed for several reasons: the entire staff works at the table with an intercom in their ear, which means that the employees are "absent" and this has been seen several times in requests made; in fact, sometimes a person addresses them and no one responds because they don't listen to people; it was nighttime when we had dinner, and we were surprised to see a child cleaning tables with disinfectant and a cloth. It's a terrible image to see children working at that time of night. the veal hunk was terrible (it was frozen) and the meat arrived cold; The meat was cold inside, despite being sealed on the outside. The mushroom risotto we ordered was too salty, to the point that we couldn't eat it they never went to the table to ask if everything was ok.. although they did so at other tables.. Foreigners had priority over us, even though we arrived and ordered first. I would not recommend this restaurant to any friends or family in conversation with other people the next day, everyone spoke badly about this restaurant, it's a shame they didn't know about it sooner

I would not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. I hope criticism...

We ordered cod croquettes as starter. There were five pieces. Midway in the second bite we realised they were frozen in the middle so we left two croquettes half eaten. We told the staff, who took away the half-eaten croquettes and the remaining three coquettes, and brought the latter three but thankfully defrosted this time. There was no apology, and they did not give us a new 5-piece portion. Not the right attitude for someone who served half-frozen croquettes. And charged us for it. Also my main, which was roast cod, was cold in the middle. On the plus side, the main courses had generous portions and were...

Chose to sit outside since the weather was perfect, but due to its roadside proximity, indoor seating may have been the better choice (a shame since the view is spectacular!). Rather expensive for the quality of food, plus I'm fairly sure they charge a cover fee. We were glad to find a vegetarian option, but it was an incredibly strange "stuffing" made of old bread served in a sausage casing. Unappetizing to say the least, but the fries were good!

The food was good! Had they offered me the lunch menu which they showed outside and I asked twice, the waiter still pointed to the a la carte menu, I would have rated 5 stars. The cod fish is huge, for €15 not bad at all. There is also a charges of €4 on the bread and the olives, again the size it's big, would be better if they told me before I see the bill. I hope they can be more open and honest with tourists.

Good service, great local food and wine! We had a blast eating the locomotiva platter (on the picture), risotto and duck breast. The atmosphere inside is pretty cozy, there is not a lot of outside seating options. The wine of the month was good, but not great. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and the prices are justified.
