I left with a smile :3
Ordered the pork ramen. The service was good tho you'll have to know English to speak to the waiters. The broth had a very strong cilantro flavor, which overpowers every other component of the bowl. Even tho cilantro tastes like soap to me, I was fine with it because somehow it didn't have the usual harsh soapiness in the broth itself. Do keep this in mind if you're used to Japanese ramen. The noodles were thick and chewy, which I love. They're made in-house, and it shows: definitely a strong point for the overall bowl. Unfortunately, like everything else they tasted like cilantro. The pork had more resistance than I would have expected, which isn't a bad thing. The pork fat was very tender. The nori seaweed was surprisingly not a solid sheet, but was instead shredded and soaked in broth. The egg wasn't marinated, but it fit the bowl. However, like everything else it still tasted mostly of cilantro.

Read moreRamen was great in taste there's probably nothing to judge, it's very nice that you can choose how spicy your ramen can be 👍. We had 2 and 4 (I guess 5 - the highest level is for brave ones). The noodles were delicious and perfectly cooked. Although there are a few improvements which we think could be made to enhance the overall experience:
dip the egg in soy sauce overnight - it would be a great addition to the taste meat tasted great, but try mincing it in some version of ramen, it can add a lot of flavour into ramen please add more toppings such as corn, bamboo, edamame, bok choi, spring onion or maybe try something crazy like local pineapple? 😁
Thought definitely recommend visiting, it's worth trying different cuisine...
Read moreYUM!! If you are a tourist in the Azores like we were, it may feel a bit silly to eat food from a ramen place when you might be able to get ramen back home, but it was 100% worth it! The staff were friendly and the ramen was EXCELLENT. The noodles tasted hand made and fresh, and the flavors are wonderful. I like some spice, and on their scale of 0-5, 1 was a really nice mild but noticeable spice. I can't imagine what 5 would be! This place is definitely worth the walk along the pier, and on your walk back, you can visit some great local arts and...
