Marina Lounge Hostel — Hotel in Ponta Delgada

Run away from big hotels!!! The service gived in this hostel will never be finded not even in a * hotel. For me the luxury is a person like a Antonio that receives you with hospitality and love. He cooks an amazing handmade breakfast everyday with a big choice (savory, sweet, juices, etc). A good example of his love for costumers is that my dad is allergic to peach. The juice available was a mix of fruits, so Antonio prepared a natural orange juice every morning without my dad asking for it. Every morning, afer breakfast, recomended us places to visit in the island, restaurants and other activities. That's the best example of someone who loves his job and really wants people to feel comfortable in his place. ||MUITO...

Choosing this hostel was the best possible decision. The hostel is located very close to the port and the city swimming pools. The interior of the facility is clean, neat and well organized. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. However, above all, the best advantage of this place are its hosts. Antonio took care of us like his private guests. He arranged for us to rent a car and suggested a sightseeing and hiking plan for the day at breakfast every day. Without his help, we would not have seen so many beautiful places. If we return to the Azores, we will definitely stay at this hostel again. I highly recommend this hostel...

Delicious, home-made breakfast every morning, cosy & welcoming space furnished with a good sense of style and design, great tips and recommendations to make the best out of our stay there (and it's not always easy, because the weather can simply change your plans from one day to another).
