I was craving for some Asian food but didn't want an all-you-can-eat rodizio type so we came here to order individual dishes. The sushi was decent. We ordered a noodle dish each which was enough for 2-3 servings per plate. The server could have told us. The stirfried noodles taste good though on the salty side. The pad Thai is unlike any pad thai we've had -- it tasted nearly the same as the Chinese noodles! Who puts preserved whole peanuts and other unexpected ingredients in pad thai! The restaurant tries to cater to mostly Portuguese tastes so it has all kinds of local dishes as well. Service was slow and there were only 4 tables being served. In hindsight, we should have gone to the other Asian restaurant. Will...
Read moreCame in late in our motorhome out of season and this was the only place open really, couldn't eat in with our dog and was too cold to sit outside so asked if we could takeaway so they brought us a menu and we had the ramen and chicken with noodles. The lady was very nice and patient with us struggling in Portuguese and her son came and said hello to our dog. Food was very good, nice and hot for takeaway, good portion sizes and quite spicy but not eye watering. Good price. Desert was very yummy as well which they let us sample as they had run out of banana...
Ele disse: é o valor do prato do dia.
The dish was great, I even ordered a second one. The sign outside said that pasta with prawns plus a drink plus coffee cost €5.50. I'm vegan and only had pasta and vegetables, 2 of them, and paid €11. I didn't have any drink, neither did I have coffee. The bill was written: 2x day dish / 2x drink. I questioned and said "even if I didn't have any drink?". He said: it's the price for the day dish. It doesn't make any sense to me. Specially because prawns are way more expensive than vegetables. Also it's unacceptable, and very unfair, to pay for something which you didn't have, no matter if it's €3 or €0,50. It's not right! Specially because I'm doing the Camino de Santiago, and each Euro spent makes a difference in the pocket. I'm very...
