The man presumed manager is very unwelcoming. As soon as we walked in, he told us to go outside three times. A lady came up to us and we expressed that we wanted to sit indoors. She said that it would be a 15 minute wait. It was cold outside, so we decided to order tea. While we were ordering tea, he proceeded to yell for us to go back outside as if he couldn’t see us ordering the tea. After we order the tea, got the tea we went back outside. The lady came and got us told us our table was ready as soon as we sit down he yells no Comida. He claims the kitchen was closed however I see people back there without gloves might I add prepping food. Also online and said they were open. Also, why tell us there’s a wait and sit us down if we can’t have any food. That was a waste of our time we would’ve got the tea and left. He then comes up to us tells us that he told us to get tea. Like we need permission to order tea? We ordered tea at our own volition in order to stay warm while we waited outside since we were harassed and told her to go outside three times within 10 freaking seconds as if we were disrupting the place. I get being overwhelmed because of the Afro nation crowd, but the disrespect was palpable. And honestly, I’m so glad I didn’t spend any more money there because again they weren’t wearing gloves. Don’t tell people that there’s a 15 minute wait for Essentially nothing if the kitchen is closed. When we were ordering our tea when we walked in and he told us to get out he should’ve said food is about to stop being served. Instead, they told us to wait for nothing a...
Read moreWe were lucky enough to stumble upon this charming breakfast spot on the first day of our week long trip, and we loved it so much that we ended up going back every single day. The food was absolutely incredible and yet the prices were more affordable than anywhere else along the main strip. The staff was super friendly and welcoming to our large group and the food always came extremely fast. Make sure to order the pancakes. They have many different versions and all are incredible (and I’m not even a pancake fan). The avocado toast and ham and cheese toastie were also some of the greatest dishes I’ve ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and check out this spot. I’m not typically a review writer, but everyone deserves to know about this hidden gem. For those drinkers out there, the mimosas were absolutely fantastic. Highly highly...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Coffeine & Brunch Cafe on my last day in Portimão, and I’m gutted I didn’t discover it sooner! The coffee was absolutely wonderful—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. For breakfast, I had the scrambled eggs served with a generous portion of fresh salad, perfectly ripe avocado, and a deliciously soft bread roll. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The menu looked so tempting, and I wish I’d had more time to try their other offerings. If you’re in Portimão, don’t make the mistake I did—go as early in your trip as possible! This place is an absolute gem for coffee lovers and...
