Pim Pam Pum — Restaurant in Portimão

Beware of scammer. Waitress takes our order, and said we would like to try the hamburger, and possibly order another to go for someone else. She offered regular sweet potatoes in place of french fries, due to health reasons. Turns out, the sweet potato IS fired in same oil as the french fries! To top that, although we never told her to prepare it, she claims the meal was already cooked, that it was cooked with our order, and we had to pay for it. The waitress became very confrontational stating “you should know all our food is fried.” You fry salads, buns, everything? Then your menu AND you, Ms. Waitress should tell this to the customer, who explicitly stated “No fried food” thus, the exchange for plain sweet potato. And expected us to pay for something we hadn’t even ordered, and wouldn’t have ordered knowing how it was cooked. Find another...

Such a great experience, highly recommend a visit. We went with kids for lunch but I’m sure it’s just as nice for dinner. Food was honestly delicious (we had meat, kids meals, veggie burgers…) and the staff were fantastic. They were knowledgable with allergies and were happy to accommodate my allergy and adapted the menu option for me. Huge portions too! Would definitely recommend for families, friends, couples. It had a lovely atmosphere even though it wasn’t so busy and the food was just fantastic. The only thing I would say is the prices have gone up I think as it was more expensive than I’d seen in pictures on here. €80 for a family of 4 including 2 kids and 2 adult meals and a shared starter. It's not located in the most touristic street of Portimão, but it's just a few minutes on foot away. This place makes just burgers, but it does it well. The burgers are relatively thick (don't expect smash burgers), but they are well cooked (to my taste). They have have a relatively large choice of burger with beef, chicken, even duck paties and also vegetarian options. We have been there twice and both times, we had a very good meal. To drink you can get limonades (we tried the maracujá and morango ones and both were nice) and a reasonable choice for beers. The service is very friendly quick and the terasse is nice.
