really can't recommend that place. the food was really horrible and the worst part was that the ingredients were clearly old. I'm so glad we didn't get food poisoning. (actually i got very very sick the next day but don't know if it was related to that food). i really have no words. the paneer was so disgusting, the meat as well. the sauce was horrible beyond words. afterwards i thought i should just have let the food go back and leave. plus not really nice people. somehow respect was lacking. and eternal waiting time, even no clients were there. i was so angry with myself that i didn't go to the delicious small Indian place in praia da Rocha where the ingredients are so incredibly fresh and the food delicious! plus the service so lovely and fast! but i thought because of the parking situation that would b faster... and years ago the food wasn't so horrible in Alvor. i would have gone home an hour earlier from praia da Rocha. or i could have gone to the amazing Indian behind the petrol station next to the central market of Lagos.... always delicious and friendly! i go there...

We enjoyed attentive service and flavoursome dishes on the 2 for €30 deal. The waiter was very friendly, welcoming & attentive. The sides on offer are what could be described as mainly starters at other curry houses. And whilst the main course portion sizes were, in our opinion were small, the flavours were really good and we thoroughly enjoyed them. There are no frills as often found in other curry houses, such as compliment poppadoms, aniseed or a chocolate to finish, or a shot on the house, which are always a nice touch. The atmosphere and the dining room would also, in our opinion, have benefitted from a more authentic Indian feel. Instead, there was football on a TV & pop music being played, not really our thing when we went out for an authentic evening Indian meal.

Would we recommend it? yes, if on a budget. Would we return? possibly but we would try other nearby...

All in all it was okay. Though we came and the five of us were seated on tables that were not done properly. While we sat he took the (not used) plates and we arranged everything that everyone would have a proper setting. It was quite shocking to see how dirty the glasses and the cutlery was. We put these on the side. The two cheaper red wines were not available. The food was ok. We still left a nice tip and it was taken without notice. All in all ok but for 20€ each I would have...
