La Fiesta Cantina Mexicana — Restaurant in Portimão

Having spent so much time in alvor for the last 22 years. We have never come across such a rude manger/owner. Last week had ordered a burrito wrap ( just a wrap) to takeaway ( not sit in) was charged €19-50 . Asked was that the right price for just a wrap , and was just given a look.. I left a msg on their fb page, to say that €19-50 for a wrap was not good value.. The owner did not reply to me on the page, but msged me on messenger, with a very very rude response. Although he messaged in Spanish , I was able to easily translate it. He has now blocked me from their fb page , but I will let it be known on all the alvor pages, and to my friends and family in alvor ( which there are lots) my advice to anyone going here is to check out the prices and the manager , who constantly stands at the door.. Lots of other beautiful restaurants here and lovely owners and staff everywhere. I would definitely avoid this place.. I have taken screenshots of his response to me, and will be putting them up on the alvor Facebook pages ( there are plenty) so that people can see how extremely rude this manager was in his response . The best Mexican restaurant in Portugal!!

We ordered guacamole, nachos and a chicken quesadilla for starters and all of them we phenomenal! TRUE Mexican flavours and everything home-made. For main courses we ordered the enchiladas and mixed Molcajetes. Once again, they were cooked to perfection, every single ingredient tastes fresh and amazingly well prepared. It entered with no doubt in my must-visit book for when iam in Alvor! The staff is amazing aswel, the servants are kind and friendly, they dont want to rush your meal to serve more, on the contrary they try and make your experience the best possible. This place is special. There is a great cantina vibe inside. Mexican music on the big screen. The staff were superb. We had the house wine to drink and both were great. Then the cheese nachos with a house sauce. Absolutely great. She had the veggie burrito and it was large and perfect. I had the house specialty at the top of the mains. It comes in some sort of earthen ware container that kept everything sizzling until I was finished. It was a huge amount of food and tasted great. Then I was given a free shot to keep me warm.
