Os Marafados — Restaurant in Portimão

Utterly awful and the worst meal we've had in over 5 years in Alvor. My Wife had Lemon Sole - it turned up looking and tasting just like a Farm Foods frozen dinner from the 80's - all out of the freezer. Disgusting. I had sirloin, rare. It arrived medium but in fairness, it was a thin but pleasant steak once I'd scraped the onion sause off it which had been sweetened with loads of sugar! We ate in March - I think the veg were put on the boil at Christmas - completely inedible. Never, ever again. Too many nice places to ever need to go here again....

Ate here with two small children, we were seated and drinks arrived promptly, with kids meals soon after , we then waited for 45-50mins with no sign of our food. All while other tables were Being fed who came in much later. Being young Kids they had become fed up waiting after eating. We asked to cancel our pizzas and they were then at the table within the next minute advising it was too late to cancel them. We then had no choice. So left with them in boxes,...

I ate a house beef, it was not anything out of the extraordinary but good in general as far as taste and presentation. The ambient is cozy and enjoyed the open kitchen look. The best part was the service itself. Good and well presented people, always looking after your needs. There is also a separated area with a ice cream balcony, although looks like its a franchise sort of products, they have an awesome taste. Recomended 4 out of 5 for restaurant 5 for...
