Called in to have a coffee and to take a look at the menu. I walked inside to order. I requested 2 coffees and was told they would come out to the terrace to serve us. I have no idea if they would come to the table to take the order or whether they would simply deliver the coffee. After 5 minutes and no coffee I went back into ask why we had not been served. A women gestured with her hands toward seated customers and simply said "we have customers". OK so we are also customers. After a total time of 10 minutes without being served we left.
Now I realise it was lunchtime but waiting 10 minutes for coffee while 2 members of their staff were sat sat eating their lunch. I see they also say on the web that waiting time could be up to 30-minutes. I accept that for food but not for coffee. Somehow I felt they were only interested in Diners.
What they should remember is that we could also be diners at some time as we actually live live nearby and that we would now make our comments known to the wider world. As we were the only people sitting on their terrace that is overlooking a main roundabout that having people sitting outside can attract others to the restaurant.
They may produce good food but appear to lack any idea of how to attract customers like us. There was not even an attempt at an apology for any delay in being served. On the basis of this experience today I would not...
Read moreI reserved a table and got seated right away when I arrived. The staff are all very kind and patient as well, if you're indecisive like my grandmother they'll gladly help you choose as they tell you every ingredient and allergy wise they also tell you if you need any help.
When the food arrived it was amazing! Everything tasted good, I recommend garlic bread with cheese. I ordered a tagliatelli campi and it was delicious. For dessert, I had a red fruit pannacotta, it's sweet and delicious with the strawberries although I would leave out the jam as it has too many seeds.
The overall view is amazing! I do recommend it 100%, would also recommend that you book your table in advance as you might not have one when you arrive (if it's a bank holiday or weekend if it's summer time book in advance).
Ps. Only negative thing I have to say is about the lemonade, it was the worst I've had in years but then again I won't give them less than 5 stars as that's not their fault but my taste for food.

Read moreEasy to find and well located next to a roundabout, its very busy but for a good reason so best to reserve before going. We both tried a pizza and realized the difference between this place and others is that they put love along with fresh ingredients and herbs in their pizza making it so unique. The restaurant is very cozy and has a very sea like atmosphere that makes you feel like home. The waitresses are very nice and will ensure a great experience.
The pizzas are quite large so we both could only tackle half of our pizzas each and decided to head back with takeaway. We then placed the takeaway box next to her dad who had already finished dinner and said he was so full he couldn't eat anymore. Anyways long story short we left it and came back around 2 hours later and saw half the takeaway box was demolished and he was sleeping! Irresistible indeed!
Definitely worth going as it has a Portuguese touch to it and is delicious. They also have other variety of foods so its good for people with different...
