Best Ribs I have ever had, not to mention the homemade coleslaw and chips along with the in house sauces and to top it all off a beautiful white wine!! My father had lamb chops which he also loved, Please stay in alvor until I return as I will be back, owner and staff were so accommodating even though it was quite busy and the ribs kept coming, each better than the last!!! The owner sat down with us after and we shared a lovely conversation with him, an absolute gentleman! Well done RibsNmore

Déjeuner de ce vendredi 28.03.25 absolument parfait dans ce restaurant familial (couple + 3 employés) de viandes fort bien noté par les internautes de Google Maps (4,6/10 lors de mon passage). La cuisson « medium well » de mon filet pur de bœuf hyper tendre (22,5 €) fut à la hauteur de mes attentes élevées, tant peu de cuisiniers respectent ce degré de cuisson intermédiaire. Choix entre 3 sauces chaudes « maison » pour la viande et mise à disposition de 3 autres sauces froides d’origine hollandaise pour les délicieuses frites allumettes à la cuisson parfaite. Très jolie terrasse ensoleillée ☀️ 😎 à front de rue mais protégée du vent 🌬️, bien agréable en ces premiers jours de printemps tardif. Service gentil & efficace. 🙏🏻 Vin rouge au verre de qualité & fort généreusement servi (3 €). 🍷 Addition finale hyper douce de 25,50 €, bien loin des prix stratosphériques appliqués pour un même repas par la toute grande majorité des restaurants d’autres pays européens. 🙂 En résumé, je lui attribue bien volontiers une note de 5/5 & recommande sans réserves ce restaurant aux carnassiers d’Alvor. P.S: Observation amusante: un restaurant vegan se trouve à 25 mètres à peine de celui-ci, sans que cela ne semble créer le moindre problème, contrairement à ce qui se passe malheureusement dans certains autres pays européens. 😉 Bon appétit ! 🥩🍷 😋🙂

5 stars all the way. Booked online and the table was reserved and got great service straight away. The ribs are amazing and so tender and there was no problem with the all you eat aspect as we got lots of refills of these beautiful ribs . Highly recommended if you're in Alvor and want some great food with great service. Also they have a great A la carte menu with reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back

We were visiting Alvor for an appointment and had a very lite breakfast, so we decided to Google best restaurants near me. So we decided we should give this one a try.

Noble was our waiter and he shared some information about the restaurant and offered a couple of suggestions. I had to try the ribs and my wife chose the BBQ burger. Both came with a small side of fries and Cole slaw. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious. My wife said the burger was excellent. Fries and slaw were great as well! Had a wonderful lunch here with friends today!

My wife and I lived in Austin Texas for 16 years before retiring to Portugal. I’m not going to say this place holds up to Austin barbecue as barbecue is pretty much a religion in Austin!

Will say though that these ribs are the closest thing to American bbq I’ve had since leaving Texas! They were fall off the bone tender with a great sauce and the sides - onion rings, chips and coleslaw were also very good.

Great service, great food and nice people - we will definitely be back.

Oh, and as a bonus, great HH with €4.50 gin and...
