On our last day of our holiday , rain came on so decided to stop and have a small drink , as I'm a smoker we sat outside , the girl who served us was lovely and didn't have an issue with us sitting outside but one rude male waiter came outside and started swearing and shouting saying he wasn't coming out to serve us in the rain the f word was used continuously, then he went back inside shouting and started telling all the diners regarding the situation , personally think he should change his day job as shouldn't be serving the public , had our drink and left , forgot to ask for complaint book but will be done online , all other staff were lovely except for that one waiter who definitely has anger issues , sorry for the rant but he made our last day of our...

The Yacht Club in Alvor has a strategic position at the border of the wharf and offers pleasant views of the harbor. We ordered freshly squeezed fruit juice and received stale juice processed with sugar and water. Further, we ordered the bread service with sardine pate. The pate was served with the can, and the bread was thawed. Service could have been much more friendly, and I noticed that non of the staff wanted to work that day. My experience was good, views great, chairs and tables acceptable. Food is priced well and was acceptable taste wise. However I must say that the peri peri chicken was not freshly cooked. It was a day or two old, possibly pre-boiled before cooking. Not a good sign going forward because although the chicken tasted ok was not cooked that day. It’s not ideal when someone gets sick. Especially if they come back. Other than that a reasonable experience, waiters were polite and good enough at what they do. I’ve been twice, would I go back? Yes of course, but not for peri peri chicken unless it’s fresh....
